(October 30, 2026) – Country Music Hall of Fame member Randy Travis today shares “Mission of Love,” the sixth and final preview of Same Old Way, his new album out November 13 on Warner Records Nashville. In this new track, Travis sings about a parent who sets aside anger and resentment to give a child the comfort and love she needs. It highlights sacrifice and compassion. His deep, rich, and soulful voice conveys strong emotion, giving the song the heartfelt, authentic country sound that has become his signature and helped establish him as a country music icon.
Our little girl is calling your name
I’ve held her, but she only wants you
And although I hate what you’ve become
Little tears brought me here on a mission of love
Randy has already released five singles from Same Old Way, “Fish On,” “I Don’t Care,” “Set The Blues Back,” “I Know Where I’d Be Without You,” and the title track, which have drawn praise from outlets like Forbes, The Tennessean, Parade, Billboard, Whiskey Riff, Country Central, Holler, All Country News, and many more.

About Randy Travis
With his first No. 1, 1986’s “On The Other Hand,” Randy Travis helped usher in a new traditionalist movement in modern country music. With his resonant baritone and pure music sense, “On The Other Hand” and “Forever and Ever, Amen” won back-to-back Country Music Association Song of the Year Awards on the way to selling more than 25 million albums and earning seven Grammys, 23 No. 1 hits, 31 Top 10s, and a 2016 induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Following a near-fatal stroke in 2013, the four-decade Grand Ole Opry member’s recovery and enduring commitment to fans and the music has inspired millions. It has also earned him CMT: Country Music Television’s Artist of a Lifetime in 2021 and Academy of Country Music’s Milestone Award in 2025.
With groundbreaking AI assistance, “Where That Came From” was released by his longtime home, Warner Records Nashville, in 2024. The record launched a new chapter of advocacy as Randy and his wife, Mary, used it as a platform to champion creators’ rights and responsible AI protections for artists. Despite the 2013 stroke that stole his voice, his live touring continues with his longtime band and guest vocalist James Dupré, allowing Travis to bring his music to generations of true country fans.
