When talking about the laurels of the people behind some of the most important bands in rock and roll music, one cannot do so without mentioning Doc McGhee. Doc has managed bands such as Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Skid Row and Guns N Roses. He currently manages a handful of bands with his top client being KISS.
Doc attended the first annual KISS Kruise, where he did an intimate Question and answering session on the last day with a couple hundred fans. After this session, we grabbed him for a rare one on one talk. We talked about his top client, KISS of course. You wanted to know who the first band Doc managed was? It’s right in this interview.
