The day after the Rock on the Range Festival in Columbus, Ohio, we rushed to Rochester, NY for our interview with Korn front man Jonathan Davis. Well, due to Jonathan not feeling up to snuff, we sat down with founder and lead guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer of the band instead. We appreciate Munky for filling in on such short notice and for providing the low down on the upcoming CD and what the rest of 2009 and 2010 have in store for Korn. I also asked him to comment on his current relationship with former guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, his side project “Fear,” “The Nervous System and his label, Emotional Syphon recordings.
