Upon releasing their self-titled debut album back in April of 2009, Halestorm literally took the world by storm you can say. Many accolades and praise have been thrown their way but the band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, has remained a very humble quartet.
While at this year’s NAMM expo in Anaheim, CA, guitarist Joe Hottinger and Lzzy Hale played a 3-song acoustic set inside the Gibson showroom. During the brief set, they debuted a song called “Here’s to Us”off of the upcoming release “The Strange Case of….,” which will be released on April 10, 2012. Also hanging about were drummer Arejay Hale and bassist Josh Smith.
We have a great relationship with the entire band and they couldn’t have been more accommodating when talking to us at BackstageAxxess.com. We have been supporting the band since the very beginning when we interviewed Lzzy back in April 2009 on their very first major tour.
Even though the band at the time of the interview couldn’t reveal the title of the CD, we still got the lowdown of how the recording process went and what will be soon be forthcoming. Sit back and enjoy an interview with one of www.backstageaxxess.com’s favorite bands, Halestorm.
