Who could have guessed that when an independent film The Story of Anvil was released it would have brought such major attention to a band that was lost in the shuffle for years? Well, what a difference a movie makes. Thats what you can say happened in the career of longtime Canadian metal band Anvil. The movie The Story of Anvil put this band back on the map where they belong and now their music is being discovered and devoured by a whole new audience.
Backstageaxxess.com sat down with drummer Robb Reiner and lead vocalist Steve Lips Kudlow before their show in Buffalo, NY to chat about how their career made a left turn and then a right one to where it is now. We also talked about their devotion to their fans and how their love of music got them through the good times and the bad. Here is the other story of Anvil.
