We at Backstageaxxess.com were flabbergasted when we had a chance to interview Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Kirk Hammet from Metallica. The interview took place on the red carpet of the Les Paul tribute outside the Iridium in New York City a couple weeks ago. Kirk was insightful about what Les Paul meant to him and the genre of heavy metal music. He also talked about the Big Four and we also joked about him taking the stage with some of his luminaries.
