It’s always a pleasure to see a musician who has made it big come back and play his hometown at any point thereafter. Bassist extraordinaire Billy Sheehan and his band, Mr. Big, played the Town Ballroom a short while back in Buffalo, NY and we were able to grab him for this rare video interview before they took the stage. Billy showed his adoration for the Buffalo crowd who has loved and supported him throughout his years not only in Mr. Big, but with his former projects Talas, David Lee Roth band and Niacin as well.
Although we felt guilty for interrupting his chicken wing dinner, we consider it an honor for Billy to have taken time away from family and friends to talk to us for a few moments. We dove right into the new record by Mr. Big called “What If.” We also talked about how the band rejoined forces to lead the band where they are today to where they are headed in the future. It’s “Ladies Night in Buffalo” every time Billy is home so let’s get to it. Ladies and gentleman… Billy Sheehan!!
