Gearing up for one of the biggest tours of the summer (Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company), Skynyrd guitarist Rickey Medlocke attended the Native American Music awards a few weeks back. While there, BackstageAxxess caught up with him before the event took place to conduct a little chat. As an honored member of the Native American Music Hall of Fame, Rickey felt right at home during the ceremony. Rickey was boasting about putting a new Blackfoot band together. Even though Rickey isn’t participating in the band, he is fully behind and endorsing it. We also talked about his affliction with the NAMA awards. Of course what would be a conversation be without mentioning Lynyrd Skynyrd? We talked about their latest effort “Last of a Dyin’ Breed” and one of the biggest tours of the summer which features his band and Bad Company.
Sweet Home BackstageAxxess readers, enjoy a conversation with one of the good ole boys, Rickey Medlocke!
