Being one of the bands on this year’s KISS Kruise, Night Ranger proved they still have the goods to deliver a high energy show. Before their second performance on the Kruise, we sat down in what might have been considered “The Presidential Suite” to talk to bassist and vocalist Jack Blades.
Jack’s band Night Ranger is currently getting together material for what will be their 10th studio effort. We also talked about their 2012 acoustical release, “24 Strings and a Drummer,” and their last studio effort, “Somewhere in California,” that was released in 2011. Of course, we talked about Jack’s solo material “Rock n’ Roll Ride” that was also released in 2012. In addition, we chatted about how his sons, James and Colin, are also involved in the music industry. Plus, what would be a conversation with Jack without mentioning one of the biggest super groups of all time in Damn Yankees? What’s holding back a reunion?? See what Jack says about it here.
An amazing room and amazing guy, what a pleasure it was to have a one-on-one conversation with one of the good guys in rock; Jack Blades.
