It’s a well known fact that music can trigger memories and take us back to special moments in our past. In fact, science has shown that our brains are wired for it. Hear an old favorite on the radio and immediately be transported back in time to that special moment. One of my favorite childhood memories happened on a car trip which was rare for our family. The Righteous Brothers song “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’ was on the radio and my dad was singing the “Whoa, Whoa, Whoa” part as we traveled to our weekend at the lake. One listen to “The Time of My Life” and I am a young teen in high school again, swooning over the late Patrick Swayze. Music and memories shall forever be intertwined.
With a new book and a new record out, Bill Medley continues to bring us his “blue-eyed soul” as no one else can. It was both an honor and a privilege to be able to chat with this legendary man. Please join us as we discuss his latest work. Thank you for the memories Bill!
