It’s not often you come away form an interview with a new perspective or maybe a new appreciation for the artist. That’s exactly what happened when we sat down with Scott Stapp. You probaly know Scott from fronting one of the biggest bands of the early millennium in Creed. Creed was one of the biggest bands on the planet at one time.
A lot has changed since that time including a breakup and reunion with Creed to now a shelved project. Since that time, Stapp has put more focus into his solo career. Last year he released his second solo effort titled “Proof of Life.” The CD is probably the most personal lyrical content he has ever written and we talked with him about that. BackstageAxxess also talked about his current relationship with Creed as well as the autobiography he released a few years back. We also discussed his love of sports and writing a song for the Florida Marlins.
