The 3rd annual She Rock Awards was held inside the Hilton and one of the more intriguing participants was saxophonist Mindi Abair. Mindi is a two time Grammy nominated artist that has already made a name for herself by playing with artists such as Aerosmith, Josh Groban, Duran Duran, Gregg Allman and Booker T. Jones to name a few.
The Berklee College graduate was a pleasure to talk to as we discussed the She Rock Awards, including the growth of it. We talked about the success of her recent record titled “Wild Heart” and her tour behind it. In addition, we discussed what her future plans include for 2015.
