The duo is back, and not just as a touring outfit. Whitford/St. Holmes is back with a new disc entitled “Reunion.” You can only get the disc by attending one of their shows, but they hope to have it available for everyone by April of 2016. During the 2016 NAMM tradeshow, we stopped by the Tone Pros booth to talk to both Brad and Derek about their timing and decision to reunite. We also talked about how they picked their current band and if and when they will add more dates to their schedule. You can feel the camaraderie between the two of them, as it was overflowing with excitement, and you could see how happy they were to regroup and take the music to the people.
In addition to the Whitford/St. Holmes reemergence, we talk about the current state of each of their respective bands Aerosmith and Ted Nugent. I have interviewed Brad a few times now and also have a long standing relationship with Derek, making for a real intimate interview, as you will see.
