Lisa Lampanelli or “The Queen of Mean,” as she is more commonly referred to, recently played a sold out show on New Year’s Day at the Seneca Events Center in Niagara Falls, NY. Prior to the show, I was able to ask the Queen of Mean some questions in a rare Q&A session. She was quite laid back and at ease with me as she fielded questions from me and the moderator Tony Astran. Nothing was off limits except her response to the upcoming season of “Celebrity Apprentice.” It has been reported that she will take part in it but she couldn’t actually confirm it until a few days after the Q&A took place. We talked about her rise to stardom as a comic and what else to expect from her in 2012 as a New Year rolls in.
