Back in the 1980s, glam metal bands were hot and hairy and dominating the music world with heavy, melodic rock anthems. Three decades later, the band Warrant is successfully maintaining that signature sound and playing fan favorites like “Cherry Pie” on this summer’s Rock Fest Tour with Bret Michaels and Lita Ford.
BackstageAxxess.com was able to catch up with guitarist Erik Turner, the band’s co-founder, and Warrant is also getting set to record a new studio album later this year. Please listen in as we talk about Warrant’s evolution from “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich” to “Rockaholic” and beyond.
