When we walked away from NAMM after compiling numerous interviews, I personally went away with a good feeling about this interviewee. You may not have heard about Malina Moye, but you soon will. This amazing talent will be releasing her debut album called “Rock and Roll Baby” in a few months. She already has graced the stage on the Experience Hendrix Tour in 2011. She was also the first African American woman to play the Star Spangled Banner on guitar at a professional sporting event at the sold-out Vikings/Cowboys match up in 2011.
She mixes style and music as she was voted ‘best dressed’ by Glamour magazine at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards. Her love for blues, rock, soul, fusion and hip hop all comes through in this interview.
Malina also talks about the amp kit by Agile Partners, how she got involved with it and how it helps her with her playing.
