Originally born in New Zealand, Allan has been living in Toronto, Canada, since he was five. His Mother was always playing music in the household, although at the time it was artists like The Supremes and Kenny Rogers. In 1982, a friend turned him onto Ozzy Osbourne and his first album purchases were “Blizzard of Ozz” and “Diary of a Madman." Soon after that, his taste for rock music was in full swing. The first arena rock show he attended was Motley Crue at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in 1985. Since that day, he’s been going to concerts very frequently, usually on average four shows a week. He loves to support the independent music scene and going to check out live bands. Some of his favourite artists include Motley Crue, Hinder, Shinedown, Guns N’ Roses, Twisted Sister, Papa Roach, Skid Row, National Velvet, Poison and all things 80’s. Gus saw Allan’s passion for music and brought him on board the Backstageaxxess.com team in 2008 as a Canadian Correspondent, primarily reviewing live shows. Someone made the mistake of telling Allan once that music wasn’t everything and there’s more to life. That conversation didn’t go so well because to him, music is indeed everything and his life totally revolves around that to this day. Top 5 Shows: 1.
